Who can read student work
The student, course teachers, and Edudojo if the agreement allows.
- You can read your own work.
- A teacher assigned to your course can open your submitted work in that course. Teachers do not see your drafts before you submit, except a version you share for feedback in a Feedback rounds course. Teachers never see your coach chat before you submit.
- An administrator of your institution sees status only, such as which sessions are complete. An administrator does not open your work.
- If your institution’s agreement with Edudojo allows it, the Edudojo company team can open your submitted work, its pictures and drafts you share for feedback. Each institution’s agreement says whether it does, and it stops when the agreement ends.
- Edudojo staff can export or delete a full record when an institution asks.
- Other students cannot read your work.
Edudojo records each time a teacher or the Edudojo company team opens submitted work or a shared draft. The record says who and when. It does not hold the text. Teachers see how many submitted records a teacher opened on the Learner activity page.
A copy of pasted text, if your class keeps one, stays in your record. No teacher screen shows it. It is included when Edudojo staff export or delete your record on an institution’s instruction.
The Learner activity page shows counts, times and codes. It never shows student writing.
The student owns the draft. The teacher owns the mark.
