Grant or revoke staff access (Edudojo staff)
Staff on the Team page: grant or revoke access, with a reason.
Team lists the Edudojo staff accounts: name, email, the day the account became staff, its last password sign-in on the staff page, and whether it has a second factor. Your own row says You.
Grant access
Select Grant access, type the exact email of an existing account in Edudojo’s own institution, and write a reason. The account becomes staff at once and is signed out everywhere. At its next sign-in on the staff page it sets up an authenticator app before it opens the console. The page lists an account without a second factor as Not set up: it can sign in, but it opens nothing until it has one.
Revoke access
- Select Revoke access on the account, write a reason, and type the account’s email to confirm.
- The account loses staff access at its next request and is signed out everywhere. It stays, and goes back to a teacher, or to a student if it was a student when it was granted.
- You cannot revoke your own access. Another staff member can. The last staff account cannot be revoked.
The record
Edudojo keeps each grant and revoke with the reason and the account that made it, Those lines are never updated. A sign-in record is written at the password step, not at the two-step code. It holds the account, the time and the level reached, which is aal1 at the password step. It holds no email, no password, no code and no address.
