Administrators

Make, move or remove a client admin (Edudojo staff)

Staff make, move or remove a client’s client admin.

In a client’s People tab, the Client admins panel shows who is a client admin of the institution. An admin account that is a client admin adds courses and changes assignments with a two-step code from the last 15 minutes, and sees the roster after a two-step sign-in. A teacher account that is a client admin keeps the teacher dashboard and opens its Institution page. A client admin does not open student work. Only Edudojo staff make, move or remove one.

The panel

Each holder shows a name, an email (none if no longer a teacher or admin), the day it began and how: given by Edudojo staff, or already an admin before this list began. Not counted marks a holder the database ignores and says why: a deleted account, an account of another institution, one that is no longer a teacher or admin, or a staff account. An institution with none says so. Recent changes lists the latest eight, with who made each and why.

Make, move or remove

  • Make client admin: choose a teacher or admin account of the institution and write a reason. It starts at once.
  • Move: choose another account of the institution. The holder stops and the new account starts in one step. It works for a holder whose email cannot be read, too.
  • Remove: write a reason and type the account’s email to confirm. The account stays. A holder without a shown email cannot be removed here: move that client admin instead.

What it refuses

An institution always keeps one client admin, so Remove is off for the last one and the panel says why. Make another account a client admin first, or move this one. A staff account, a student, a deleted account, an account of another institution, and an account that is a client admin already cannot become one. Edudojo’s own institution takes none. Each change needs a reason, which Edudojo keeps with your account in the record of changes.
