Students

Read your submitted work

A read-only page: your final draft, saved versions and coach chat.

After you submit, the course card shows Submitted. Select View submitted work to open it. The page is read-only.

What you see

  • At the top: the course, Submitted with the date and time, and your How I worked answer. On a phone that answer is in About this record.
  • Your final draft. Above it, the tabs Draft and Conversation show one at a time, in the same place.
  • When you saved more than one version, a timeline under the draft. With one version there is no timeline.
  • The coach chat, under Conversation. Each run of messages starts with You or Coach. With no coach message, the tab says so and offers Read the draft.
  • Select About this record to read more: that a submission is final, and if you started again, when and the reasons you gave.

The page does not measure how deeply you were thinking or whether the work was independently authored. About this record adds that the page shows saved drafts and the coach chat, not every keystroke.

Your teacher’s feedback

When your teacher sends feedback, it opens under Your teacher’s feedback: beside your draft on a wide screen, or in the Feedback tab on a phone. It holds their comments, Sent on with the date, and any level they chose for Critical reasoning and Evidence and verification, in words, never a number or a score. Each level shows the whole scale with yours marked, your teacher’s reason if they wrote one, and What the next level looks like, or that yours is highest. Read every level shows all four. A later change shows Updated on and the date. You do not see unsent feedback; until then, one line at the top says so.

If a teacher removes you from a course

The course card shows Removed. You can no longer write there. Your work is safe. You can view your drafts and select Download my work. If you were added back, select Check again.
