Submit your work and say how you worked

Submitting is final. The How I worked answer is yours, not a mark.

When your draft is ready, select Submit in the editor.

  1. A box asks: Submit your work? It says first that after you submit, you can read your work but you cannot change it or start again.
  2. An optional part asks: How did you create this work? Choose one answer: In Edudojo, Help with typing or speaking (like dictation), A source my teacher allowed, Another tool, or Not sure. No answer is chosen for you.
  3. Select Submit with my answer once you choose. Or select Submit without an answer, or Keep writing.

This answer is your own account of how you worked. It is not a mark and does not change a grade.

Before you submit

  • Edudojo saves your latest words first. If they are not saved yet, your work is not submitted. Check your connection and select Submit again.

Change it while you write

How I worked is a small button in the top row above your draft. When there is room, it shows the words How I worked. With more room it also shows your answer, or Not added. Without room it is only a small notebook icon, and its name tells your answer. Select it to see the choices with what each one means, then Save. Save waits until you choose. Cancel, or Escape, keeps your last answer. It is optional, and it takes no room from your writing. On a phone, Polish and Review show only icons. Press and hold one to see what it does.

When you open a draft again, a dot shows on the button until you open it. Next to the dot you read Check if you saved an answer before, or Add if you did not. On a narrow screen only the dot shows. That is only a reminder to look at your answer.

Due times

Your teacher may set a due time. You see it above your draft; small phones show only its clock. It is not a grade.
