Learner activity
How far the students of one course got. Never student writing.
Open Learner activity on the dashboard and choose a course. The page shows student names, steps, counts and times, and the reasons and How I worked answers that students chose from a list. It never shows what a student wrote. It is not a grade or ranking.
What it shows
- Students: one row for each student, name first, or one card each on a narrow screen. It comes first on the page.
- How far students got: how many students are in the course, Started, Wrote a draft, Used the coach and Submitted.
- Where students stopped: those who have not submitted, by the last step they reached.
- Time: the typical time from start to submission, and the typical days with work. Dates and times are in your local time. A note under the students says when each day with work starts. A figure with no data yet says Not yet.
- Coach: messages to the coach per writing session, and how many suggestions were accepted.
- Starting again: how many new drafts, and the reasons given.
- How students said they worked: the latest answer of each session. Students choose it themselves. It is not observed.
- Teacher review: how much submitted work a teacher has opened, and the typical wait until the first open.
