Unsaved work

Choose what to keep, or why a save is refused.

When Assistance could not save your changes to your account, it shows Choose what to keep above the tools. The line under each choice says what it does. If your account has 3 active teaching plans, a line replaces Save as new teaching plan, unless your account already lists the recovered copy. The line says there is no place for a new one.

Under Use the saved version, Last saved to your account gives the time your account last saved, including other devices and AI replies that change your plan. It is read when the choices appear and after each choice, and is hidden if it cannot be read.

Changes on this computer lists each part this computer holds, by teaching plan, with words you did not send, messages you already sent, and other plans' unsaved copies. Select a part's name to read it; Download saves a PDF, or Word if that fails. Neither changes your account. A line says if some changes could not be read. With nothing listed, Download a copy saves the open view.

With no connection, the dashboard, Assistance and the feedback box show a note: changes are not saved until the connection returns. When the note goes, check that your work shows as saved. In the feedback box, select Save for later again.

When your institution’s access has ended

After your institution’s agreement with Edudojo ends, Edudojo cannot save what a teacher or an admin changes: a due time, how students work in a course, feedback, an assessment, an Assistance plan, an added student or an added course. The page says: Your institution’s access to Edudojo has ended, so Edudojo cannot save this change.

It offers no Try again, because trying again cannot work. One case still shows Try again: research in Assistance that was running when access ended; trying again cannot work there either. What you typed stays on the page until you leave it. In Assistance, use Download a copy before you leave.
